Square Enix’s 30 minute livestream last year was a disappointing follow up to an already disappointing live stage conference in 2017. Not a lot was really announced and one major absence – the Avengers project that’s been entirely MIA since its teaser trailer announcement in January 2017 – stood out more than anything else. This year, at least, we know that Squeenix will bring a more in depth look at the Final Fantasy 7 remake at last – and possibly an announcement of a release date too (of the first part, at least…).
